Gazpromneft Marine Bunker, a subsidiary of oil producer Gazprom Neft, has delivered its first marine oil cargo to a vessel operated by oil major Chevron in Russian Ust-Luga port.

The 1992-built tanker Gazpromneft West delivered some 13,5 tonnes of TARO 40 XL 40 X marine oil to the 40,549 dwt crude oil tanker Seamarlin.

The company said that the cargo was delivered as part of an agreement for integration into Chevron’s supply network, signed between the parties in 2012.

Earlier deliveries in the port of Ust-Luga were undertaken by road tankers and through transportation in barrels.

Gazpromneft Marine Bunker operates in main sea ports of Russia, as well as in the country’s river ports.

The company also provides services to international ports including Tallinn (Estonia), Riga (Latvia), and Constanta (Romania).
